Inaugural Tech Challenge - Summer 2016

The Inaugural FLASTEM Technology Challenge is open to all current 4th through 8th-grade students (in 2015-2016 school year) in the Tampa Bay region. Use your creative idea and can-do attitude and create or build something based on this year's themes. Advance your learning using Technology, Computer Programming, and Robotics while solving local and global problems and showcase your talent. Participation is entirely FREE.

2016 Challenge themes are Health and Fitness, Environmental issues, and Education and Learning. Your project should be novel and compelling enough to impress our judges!  Win monetary awards and get recognized. Registration information and official guidelines are available below.

Other Entries -  We received over 20 project ideas as individual and team entries. High school mentors                                                             are assisting the participants in completing the projects for showcasing in Spring 2017.
